TERRIL - Funeral services for Miles Netsch, 94, of Terril will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril with Pastor David Doellinger officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Terril.

He died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Prairie View Home in Sanborn.

Miles Ernest Netsch, the son of Ernest and Hilda (Mether) Netsch, was born July 19, 1919, in Logan. He completed his education in the Logan Schools.

On Jan. 18, 1942, Miles was united in marriage to Edith Pedersen in Terril. The couple made their home in the Terril area and raised their family. Miles was engaged in farming and owned a fuel bulk plant, gas station and a repair shop. Later he was employed as a salesman. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril where he served on various church boards and was an Elder. Miles was also a past member of the Terril School Board.

Left to cherish Miles' memory are his wife, Edith, of Sanborn; children, Robert Netsch and his wife, Pat, of Spirit Lake; Barbara Ansorge and her husband, Robert, of Storm Lake; Richard Netsch and his wife, Terresa, of Milford; Roger Netsch and his wife, Susan, of Indianola; Kenneth Netsch and his wife, Annette, of Milford; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Clifford Netsch and his wife, Shirley, of Mountain Lake, Minn. and Paul Netsch and his wife, Diane, of Spirit Lake and many nieces and nephews.
