Jordan Jensen and Kenneth Colston were united in marriage on Sept. 7, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville with Pastor Paul Wiegman officiating. Parents of the couple are Bob and Lili Jensen of Estherville and Ricky and Darlene Colston of Huntsville, Alabama. Honored guests in attendance were Dean Lyon grandfather of the bride and Kenneth Skinner, grandfather of the groom. Grandfather of the bride, Gary Michels was unable to attend due to health.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister-in-law, Kim Jensen and serving as maid of honor was Kaylin Colston, daughter of the groom. Bridesmaids were Melinda Moe and Erin Henderson, cousins of the bride and Lindsey Blair, Alexandra Hernandez, and Alison Boswell, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Averi Colston, niece of the groom.
Ricky Colston, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Erik Jensen, brother of the bride, and Brandon Colston, Branden Mortensen, and Chad Mortensen, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Ronan Jensen, nephew of the bride.

Greeters at the church were Jim and Mette Malek, aunt and uncle of the bride. Pianist was Athlyn Black accompanying vocalists Shana Berg, Chris Shepard, and Justin Wimbish.
Following the wedding, a dinner reception and dance were held at the Majestic Pavilion in Arnold's Park. Serving as hosts and hostesses were Ron and Lori Swanson along with Mark and Lesa Nauss, aunts and uncles of the bride. Gift attendants were Kallie and Katie Lyon, cousins of the bride. Reception photographers were Karla Lester and Shari Bisgaard, friends of the bride.
The evening before the wedding the bride and groom hosted a rehearsal dinner and lake cruise for the bridal party and family and friends on West Lake Okoboji aboard the Queen II, Arnolds Park.
The morning following the wedding, the bride's parents hosted a brunch at the recently renovated CCC lodge at Mini-Wakan State Park, Spirit Lake.
Jordan is a 2000 graduate of ELC and received her BA in art education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and her MA in art education from Brigham Young University, Salt Lake City. After teaching for 6 years, she is currently International Program Director for Wilderness Ventures.
Ken is a 1997 graduate of Sparkman High School in Alabama. He He entered the US Marine Corps in 1998 and the US Army in 2004. Ken served nearly 10 years in the military including overseas tours of duty in Iraq, Bahrain and Germany. He attended Thomas Edison State College for respiratory therapy followed by Denver University for biology. Ken is now a real estate agent with Jackson Hole Real Estate Company.
The couple honeymooned in Ireland and Scotland returning to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the family resides.
