Unlike Monday's game against Spencer, Estherville Lincoln Central found a way to scratch out some runs against Emmetsburg on Friday.
In fact, three of the Midgets' runs came in the third inning without a hit in the 4-1 victory for the hosts.
The inning began with Zach Humble drawing a walk and Dan Christensen reached on a throwing error by the E'Hawk third baseman as Humble went to third. After Christensen stole second base, Riley Strenge laid down a suicide bunt. Humble slid safely into home as the ball bounced away from the catcher.
