The Estherville Police Department arrested a wanted fugitive from Minnesota early Friday morning. According to Chief Brent Shatto, officers were advised by a bail enforcement company that a fugitive from Hennipen County, Minn., was currently in Estherville. Officers conducted an investigation into the information that they received and verified that the subject has been staying in an Estherville residence. The fugitive was identified as 26-year-old Garnys Soto, (aka) Garnys Hernandez. Soto was wanted for failure to appear on an original charge of first degree felony drug charges in Minnesota with no bond.
