State Farm has recently moved to its new location on Central Avenue, however, the dedicated service remains the same.

Jared Colegrove joined State Farm in Estherville in 2011 and took the business over in January 2012. His licenses and certifications include property/casualty, life, health, series 6 and 63, mortgage certified, long term care and annuities.

"The number one priority is teaching the customers how insurance works in today's environment and then letting the customer make the final decision on how they want to be insured," said Colegrove. "We try to enforce through the quality of what we present and do."

"State Farm has put us in a position to access what each customer's scenario is. A lot of people don't know their exclusions or limits," said Colegrove. "We actually spend time and help them figure out what makes sense for insurance compared to what they currently have."

Jared Colegrove's State Farm team includes Christie Peters, Dan Kramer and recently, Tyler Lutz. They all have degrees and are licensed insurance professionals.

"I am proud of my team and how they have learned and empowered themselves to handle different customer's needs." They are intelligent, well trained, have higher education backgrounds, and attentive to customers, described Colegrove.

"I love the customer interaction whether it is with a customer and myself or seeing how my team interacts with customers and being able to help them the right way," said Colegrove.

While State Farm offers many polices including auto, home, life and commercial insurance, State Farm also offers services including retirement, estate planning, long term care, health services, and offer State Farm bank which includes mortgages, loans, checking and more.

This year State Farm became the number one life insurance company in the nation in terms of individual policies in force, said Colegrove. Now, State Farm is working to become the number one financial service leader in the nation. "I want our customers to know that State Farm has an excellent financial service department," said Colegrove. "We can help them with a 401K rollover or we can help them with wealth transfer to the next generation along with strategies behind that and how to protect your estate financially, including long term care."

If you want quality, time and someone who is going to talk with you and schedule a review every couple years, then Jared Colegrove and State Farm is the place to go.

As for the new building, Colegrove said it offers a professional, spacious, clean and comfortable setting to be able to conduct business for a long time to come.

The new building is outfitted with a conference room in which Colegrove plans to offer financial seminars a couple times a year. With these seminars, Colegrove plans to bring in individuals to speak about various topics including retirement, financial services and assets protection among other topics.

Colegrove also has 22 storage units available for rent by the public as well as a 1,700 square foot, lower level unit below his building available for rent.

Colegrove is a graduate of Armstrong-Ringsted High School. He received his degree in entrepreneurial management and transportation logistics through Iowa State University. He has been married 12 years to wife Lindsey, who is a Spanish teacher at North Union. The couple has two children, Macy, 7, and Grayson, 6 who both attend ELC School District.
