ARMSTRONG - North Union and Sioux Central will battle for a fourth win in the 2016 season this Friday as both teams enter the game with 3-5 records.

The Warriors' offense has picked up the last three weeks with senior Trent Pedersen moving from the line to the backfield. Pedersen has rushed for over 100 yards in each of the last three games in which North Union went 2-1. Pedersen now has 405 yards on 95 carries with five touchdowns. Isaac Engeman has 565 yards and seven touchdowns on 154 carries to give North Union a 1-2 punch. Derek Thompson hasn't carried the ball much the last couple weeks, but he has 128 carries for 432 yards and three scores.

Sioux Central's offense has struggled since a 20-12 win over Ridge View on Sept. 30. The Rebels lost 12-3 to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn two weeks ago and then lost 9-6 in overtime to St. Edmond of Fort Dodge last Friday.
