GRAETTINGER - Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire split its first duals of 2017, defeating Sioux Center 47-34 and falling to Spirit Lake Park 39-30 on Tuesday.

"It was nice to get back on the mat following break," said GT/RA coach Alex Helmich. "I was very pleased with how we fought the entire night. We started the night off at a high level against Sioux Center. We knew we needed to improve on that from the beginning of the season and just be ready to wrestle that first dual. I think we did a much better job of being ready to wrestle from the start tonight. Then we came back and continued to wrestle at a high level in the last dual."

Against Sioux Center, the Titans went 4-5 in contested matches, but had the deeper lineup and received more forfeits-4-1.
