The Titans trailed 4-0 after two innings before retaking the lead with a five-run third inning. Both teams scored two runs in the fourth inning, but the Golden Bears outscored GT/RA 5-2 in the fifth inning, which proved to be the difference in the game. Each team scored one run in the sixth inning to compete the scoring.

The Titans' defense struggled throughout the night. Just four of the 12 runs were earned. Maddy Norris pitched her final game, giving up 10 hits and six walks with no strikeouts.

GT/RA finished with 14 hits-with Chloe Bakken going 2-3 with a pair of RBIs while Anna Sorenson was 2-4 with a double and four RBIS. Sierra Kluever and Madison Hough each were 2-4 with a double and Emma Baak and Taylor Park also both were 2-4. Norris finished 1-2 and Emily Chicoine was 1-3. Kluever, Norris, Park and Hough each had one RBI.

The Titans finish the year with a 19-11 record and bid farewell to three seniors-Maddy Norris, Taylor Park and Anna Sorenson.

GT/RA 13, CAL 0, 3 inn.

TERRIL - Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire sent 18 batters to the plate in the first inning and scored 13 runs against winless CAL-Latimer in Monday's Class 1A region game. That turned out to be all the runs in the game, as the Titans won 13-0 in three innings.

The Titans pounded out nine hits in that first inning, which included in-the-park home runs from Taylor Park and Kenzie Hoffman.

Park led off the bottom of the first inning with a hard hit that scooted past the Cadet left fielder to the fence. The defense was slow in getting the ball to the infield as Park sped around the bases.

Madison Norris drew a walk, stole second base, stole third and took home when a pickoff attempt at third base sent the ball into the outfield. Anna Sorenson drew a walk, stole second and scored on a triple by Chloe Bakken. Hoffman followed with a long hit to the right-center field gap. She also kept running as two runs scored on the in-the-park home run.

Madison Hough reached on an error, Emma Baak was hit by a pitch and Sierra Kluever drew a walk, as the bases were loaded. Emily Chicoine hit a grounder to second and reached safely on an error as one run came home. A single by Park brought in another run. Norris then doubled and that combined with a CAL error brought three runs in. With one out, Bakken hit her second triple of the game, which was followed by a double from Hoffman. A two-out single by Baak drove in the final run of the inning.

Hoffman and Bakken each finished 2-2 while Park was 2-3. Hoffman and Norris each had three RBIs while Park and Bakken each had two.

Norris earned the pitching win, striking out one batter, walking one and giving up three hits in three innings of work.
