Lakers pull away from Minnesota West

WORTHINGTON, Minn. - The Iowa Lakes men's basketball team turned a one-point halftime lead into a 99-86 victory over Minnesota West Community and Technical College on Wednesday.

Colton Neff came off the bench to lead five Lakers in double digits with 22 points. Neff also grabbed nine rebounds.

Ben Shellim finished with21 points while Kelly Madison and Deondre Parks each scored 19 points and Josh Schaben had 11.

Madison and Kevin Larson each had four assists and Schaben had two blocked shots.

Tyler Aquallo led Minnesota West with 32 points.

Iowa Lakes (6-3 overall) is on the road against Southwestern Community College in Creston on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
