Arlene Anna Croudy passed away peacefully on May 30, 2013, in Concord, N.H. She was born Nov. 26, 1927, to Oscar and Olga Honnette in Martin Co. Minn. She attended Dunnell and Sherburn, Minn., schools and graduated from St. Olaf College in 1949. While at St. Olaf she was a member of the St. Olaf Choir and toured both coasts and sang in Carnegie Hall.
She was married to Bill Croudy on May 5, 1951, and they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Arlene enjoyed singing in the church choir, as well as playing piano and organ. Wherever they lived, she was active in her church. She enjoyed her years working at the University of Nebraska.
She was a wonderful mother to her children, Carolyn and Doug and a great supporter of her grandchildren and was just getting to know her young, great-grandchildren.

Arlene was predeceased in death by her husband Bill Croudy, son Douglas Croudy, and brothers Bob and Melvin Honnette and sister-in-law Harriet Honnette. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Guerdet of Concord, N.H.; her brother, Paul Honnette; her sister-in-laws, Laverne Honnette and Ruth Winstedt; Jack and Rhodie Croudy, Dick and Madalene Olson, her grandchildren, Bridgette, Nathan, James, Rachel, Christopher and Jacque, as well as five great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation at First Covenant Church, 201 N. 90th Street, Omaha, at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held privately in Emerson, Neb. Memorials to First Covenant Church.
