MARSHALLTOWN - Three days after losing a one-point game to Iowa Western, Iowa Lakes came back with a one-point win over Marshalltown, 74-73, last Saturday.
The Lakers trailed 32-30 at halftime and won despite committing 23 turnovers.
Iowa Lakes did out-rebounded the hosts 33-24.
Deondre Parks scored 25 of his game-high 33 points in the second half to lead the Lakers.
Post Latrell Love was the only other Laker to reach double digits and he finished with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Emmanuel Golong finished with five points while Diamontae McKinley and Justin Sloter each had three points. Tate Harmon, Brandon Boggs and Jake Janssen each had two points and Colton Neff had one.
Mike Rodriguez led Marshalltown with 25 points.
Both teams shot free throws well with the Lakers making 18-of-25 for 72 percent and Marshalltown making 28-of-35 for 80 percent.
The Lakers (8-4 overall, 1-0 in the ICCAC) are at Clinton Community College at 2 p.m. today.
